MyCardRep

MyCardRep was built by a card collector who was tired of paying eBay fees, but is wary about who to trust when buying and selling offline.

"X can vouch for me" only goes so far when you don't know X. There was no good way to verify someone's track record before agreeing to a deal — so I aimed to build one with MyCardRep.

MyCardRep is a self-reported deal history platform for the trading card community. It's not a guarantee against scams, and it's not a replacement for doing your own due diligence — but it gives collectors a way to build a logged record of offline transactions, and gives buyers and sellers a place to look before they trust a stranger.

It's a solo project, built by a collector for collectors.
